PERZAL Stree Sangatan Bajpe Unit Celebrates Christmas with Festive Gathering
Bajpe: The PERZAL Stree Sangatan Bajpe unit commemorated Christmas with a celebration held on December 20 at 4:00 PM in the Bajpe Church Hall. The event, attended by 62 members, commenced with an invocation, setting a reverent tone for the evening.
Cletta D’Cunha, President of PERZAL Stree Sangatan Bajpe (PSSB), extended a formal welcome to the attendees. The function was presided over by Fr. Andrew D’Souza, Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Bajpe, who delivered a Christmas message emphasizing the strength and unity of the organization’s members.
A symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, led by Fr. D’Souza and other dignitaries, served as a representation of the happiness and joy associated with the Christmas season.
The members of the Stree Sangatan presented a selection of carols, which resonated with the audience, evoking feelings of devotion and praise. Interactive games, organized by Juliet Moras, provided entertainment, and winners were recognized with gifts.
In the spirit of fraternity, the members participated in a “Christmas friend” gift exchange, designed to reinforce unity and foster joy among those present.
Dignitaries present on the dais included Stany D’Souza, President of Bajpe Parish; Gracy Sequeira, Secretary of Bajpe Parish; and Anitha Prima D’Costa, Convenor of the 21st Commission.
Sandhya Cutinho, Secretary of PSSB, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of those involved in organizing the event. Gladees D’Souza, Vice President of PSSB, compered the program.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of kuswar and soft drinks, leaving attendees with a sense of festive cheer.
