Stree Sangatan Bajpe Celebrates International Women’s Day
Mangaluru: Stree Sangatan ‘Perzal’, Bajpe, in collaboration with the Stree Ayog, celebrated International Women’s Day with a special program that began with a Holy Mass at 7:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Bajpe, on March 8.
The program commenced with an invocation seeking divine blessings for the occasion. Cletta D’Cunha, President of Stree Sangatan, welcomed the gathering.
Dr. Ronald Cutinho, former Parish Priest of Bajpe, highlighted the vital role of women and their unwavering dedication to their families and society at large.
The women expressed their unity and talents through vibrant performances, including a dance, a song, a variety presentation highlighting women in diverse fields, and both a moral and a comedy skit.
Several games were conducted during the program, and prizes were distributed to the winners.
The event was graced by Juliet Moras, Secretary of Bajpe; Stany Rodrigues, Convenor of the 22 Commissions; and Gladees D’Souza, Convenor of Stree Ayog.
Sandhya Rebello, Secretary of Perzal Stree Sangatan Bajpe, delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by Philomena D’Costa.
