Nainad Parish Honors Large Families, Celebrates Expectant Mothers with Special Baby Shower

Nainad: In a meaningful initiative to promote community growth and family values, the Family Commission and Women’s Association (Stree Sanghatan) of St. Francis Assisi Church, Nainad, organized a special appreciation program honoring parents with three or more children. The event also celebrated expectant mothers preparing to welcome their third child.

A key highlight of the program was a traditional Baby Shower ceremony held for mothers expecting their third child. The initiative aimed to uplift and encourage families while fostering a supportive environment that embraces the joy and responsibility of larger families.

The event was presided over by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo, with Rev. Fr. Alwin D’Souza, Director of the Family Life Service Centre, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of strong and growing families in ensuring the continuity and vitality of the Christian community.
